One word of warning that I'm not afraid to admit: I have Asperger's Syndrome; and most likely if I never had told you you'd have never known it. No that doesn't mean I'm retarded (well, maybe sometimes as with anyone else), quite the opposite if I do say so, overtly quirky even, however! I may say things that are of insensitive quality without actually meaning to... or not recognizing the potential to incite such rage with some things I type. I don't derive any form of delight or satisfaction from those times and I can't actually figure out some of the emotional context of these things for myself. I tend to keep genuine insults in private, so keep that in mind if you will. I'm not the openly vulgar or discordant sort; only (brutally) frank. This is the bane of my condition.

Other than that... uh... I'm a fanatical pokémaniac. Yeah, again I'm not going to hide that. I've been with them wee 'mons since the time of their conception and I don't think I'll ever tire of or outright forget the franchise. Lugia is far and away my most favourite of them all; I fell in love with him ever since he graced the box of silver version; before the movie... before the fame and all the 'me too' bandwagoners joined in. My second favourite has now come to be Cobalion; perhaps because the two share similar roles i.e. the guardian of balance and sea and the protector of the woods and the pokémon kind. I am very much looking forward to Pokémon X & Y versions because I felt that series went a little downhill after Silver and Gold. B&W redeemed it to some degree but most if the designs are still poor.
The mascots; Xerneas and Yveltal stand to become top favourites of mine. I love deers and the whole royal monarch like airs they have got about them; plus Xern' has the bonus of looking like the god from Princess Mononoke; it just looks so beautiful and elegant. At first, and I have to be honest, I hated the idea of Yveltal at first and people's first inclination was to refer to him as a more badass Lugia. Heresy! I cried. He doth be naught more than a false idol! After a while though... I learned to look past the similarities however coincidental and saw it for what it was as a single standalone entity. By joe, how could I have not seen the resemblance; he looks like Fou-Lou's Aura transformation of Breath of Fire fame. I LOVED the concepts for the dragons in the resident game; with Aura being a firm favourite next to Peist, Tyrant and Infini/Agni. Yvel' just bears such a strong likeness to him it's unbelievable and for that reason alone; I can say now that I adore him.
Rabid fandom aside, I am also a top tier competitor in Pokémon tournaments; yeah... laugh it up all you want but give the system a chance and you'll be nicely surprised by how complex it all gets. It's like a turn based LoL if you want my opinion of it. I still compete to this day and still going strong. I look forward to what new challenges the introduction of X & Y will pose and bring forward.
I like MLP to something of a fault; making me 'a bit' of a pegasister (it amuses me that those silly little toys I used to harbor as a child suddenly exploded in popularity during these times; not complaining as they've come back with a vengeance and looking better than ever). I've even drafted out my own subsection of the pony world for funsies; it's just a matter of putting together what goes where.
Big time nature fan; I'm a wanderer by nature and I've got just the beauteous romping grounds to satisfy that craving. I like arthropods (that's invertebrates with an exoskeleton to you and me), mollusks (cephalopodae most of all), artiodactylae (mainly the deer, bovidae and antelopes though), equines, avians, reptiles, rhinos, hyaenidae, canines (foxes especially)... uh... yeah, I like all of the animal and plant kingdom (carnivorous plants!), I just like some a little bit more than others. ...Dinosaurs too if more of them were still alive (Nessie show thyself!)
I'm also a martial arts buff. I've done fencing as well and recently I have taken up boxing. Ideally I would like to get into a style known as 'kudo' but sadly that seems way out of reach atm (it's huge in Russia apparently).
I am also an artist besides the stated photographer; I deal with traditional media, sculpture and when it comes to digital art my specialty is sprite work otherwise known as pixel art; which I have been doing for a very long time now... from the humble beginnings of simple sprite modulation (Mega Man, Metroid and others and of course Pokémon!) to progressing into original works. I still like sprite modding at the core of it though heh; give me more material to work with and build up my own ideas.
Oh, and I'm also a huge power gamer; no surprises there eh? There's is practically almost no genre I will not at least dabble in. Favourites include action adventure, RPG, racing, platformers, beat 'em ups, FPS, puzzlers. I've pretty much retired from MOBAs though; too much of a heartache for me to play those now because when I play I play mostly to win and it kills me to be in groups that are not even trying their best. Plus the yelling, the endless f***ing cat-calling... geez louise. I'm also not too interested in most sim games or silly little DDR clone crappy things.
Planned possible main characters in EQN should the choices permit:
(Names partially obscured to prevent stealing)
Midg' the Kobold
Lou' the Gnoll
Khal' the Minotaur
Karu' the Aviak
Ansa' the Iksar
...and also a Kerra may be in the pipeline should I not like the look of the Iksars in this iteration of the franchise.
NEW: Rabs' Snickerwell the Ratonga - a smooth and sly customer and what could be called an 'elegant' scrapper powered by the forces of the wild and the untamed. Think somewhere in between Bigwig and Woundwort or just Bigwig alone, of the Watership Down books. Sneaky and sprite like with a penchant for swashbuckling but when getting right down to business; an unwavering storm of vicious and feral blows. (Not much of an idea of where to go with this one... all things point to going down a class route I loathe despite befitting the overall character. I only aim to use this as my last resort in the event none of the other races I like make it in as playable.)
Yowley Longtail/Roughscruff GNOLL (EQN intended) - WIP story random notes: Fox like and small, 'scrawny' but lithe... his liveliness and undying trickter's zeal does nothing to accentuate that natural graceful quality about him. H at some point meets a creature unknown to most of the world, the crystalline roc. He trades a feather from which he may invoke his presence for Yowley's lifelong pledge. A remnant of the days where gnolls were once noble creatures. So named because he is said to become routinely possessed by the Truespirits, a gift from them... his vocalizations are eerie, powerful and passionate during these times hence his namesake; it's a 'malady' that he has not recognized the meaning or benefits of as yet as those episodes cause him great dismay. Loses his tribe on an 'unfair' distrustful trade. Is taken into civilization by one family despite being almost killed by the other people, still is actively stunned by the common populace. Is given a distinctive maroon blazer; tattered by the time he is once again chased out of town due to a violent outburst on incident. This is because due to his sensitivity to the thoughts and emotions of the wild; any point at which any emotion becomes overbearing can stir a bloody outburst within him. Condemned as a savage that will never change, a mere animal... he is out on his own again. Begins to question all of his life's experiences thus far. There are two kinds of progressing, the kind that maintains balance, and the one that aims to tip it out of proportion... a 'fake' perception of progress; he believes now. After dealing with the tragedy back at the tribe and being forcefully involved in civilization he has picked up a lot of tricks of the trade, but add to that another item of philosophical thought. He witnessed those that take but do not give; that is trading by the balance's standards. Due to this he combines his old trickster's tendencies as a lad and his renewed if somber perspective on life to become something of a Robin Hood figure. An anti-hero in every sense of the word he will not hesitate to sabotage the establishments he sees as the villains behind the original ovacious vendetta against his kind, and thus anything 'pf the wild'. He does not approve the approaches of the newer gnollish bloodlines; so at times he can be at odds... to the point of mortal aggression if he feels they have become too tainted. Yowley takes it upon himself to reclaim the frontier and return it to whence it was, one bloody paw print at a time. To make it mysterious and untouchable once more. (These are some very poorly drafted quick notes just so I don't forget any of the little flairs to his origins. Will become fully developed if/once gnolls are confirmed as playable.)
Sarnak - not holding my breath on that one because the kobold look like Di'Zokian sarnaks already.
Gruengach (goatmen) - I actually would prefer to see them over minotaurs.
A newer NEW: Minche Skimshore the othmir. MAKE THEM HAPPEN TOO SOE. Remember the disappointment at DoV launch?
I'd also like to see aviaks; but not the winged kind as it would be too hard to keep them balanced yet convincing as birds. I'd like to see them reappear as they did in the original EQ. They could also be like Metroid's own avian race the Chozo; who possessed remarkable vaulting capabilities. Along those lines aviaks could have a racial associated with increased jumping ability for a short time or something. I'd really like that.
